Estate was first established in 1983 and was known
as Barongavale winery. During 1998, expansion
of the vineyard began with further plantings of
mainly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties. The
estate consists of nearly 30 acres with approximately
14 acres under vine. |

of Otway Estate
or Yahoo Creek wine and of
course relax!

Each cottage is fully self contained so you can
either curl up in front of the fire in winter
or sit on the veranda in summer. Read a book,
watch a video, listen to the stereo or laze back
in the spa as the jets wile away the strain of
a busy day.

Estate Winery
Otway Estate produces wine under two labels Otway
Estate & Yahoo Creek. All fruit grown on the
property at Otway Estate is under our 'Estate' label
whereas fruit sourced from the local area is bottled
under our Yahoo Creek label. Fruit for Yahoo Creek
comes predominantly from Irrewarra, Birregurra and
through to Geelong.
The Otway Estate wine range consists of both still
and sparkling wine including, Semillon Sauvignon,
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sparkling White - Chardonnay
/ Pinot Noir, Sparkling Red - Pinot Noir / Shiraz.
The wines in our Yahoo Creek range include Sauvignon
Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Merlot and Fine
Old Tawny (Port). |
