Experience the Otways and the freedom of country life on this beautiful property situated on the Barham River, just minutes from the Apollo Bay township. This 400 acre beef and sheep grazing property is nestled on the edge of the Otways with spectacular views of the ocean and Barham River Valley.

This historic riverhouse has been tastefully renovated with country charm and all the mod-cons. It has many features that will delight its guests as there are many aspects of the property which relate to the local history of the area.

This spacious 3 bedroom river hideaway has a well equipped kitchen which features a slow combustion wood stove for heating, spacious lounge with double sided Wood Fire (Coonara) and a balcony that overlooks the Barham River.

Burrum River Retreat can sleep up to eight people with one Queen size bed, one King bed (can be two singles), a set of Bunks and a sofa bed in the lounge room.

Burrum River Retreat is a holiday experience for those who appreciate privacy, views of the river valley and surrounding countryside. This tranquil location offers a peaceful country escape that is still within a few minutes drive from shops, cafes, restaurants and beaches.

You may wish to fish for trout in the Barham River or search for platypus along its banks. Sit on the veranda overlooking the river with its graceful gum trees and willows.

The surrounding garden combines native shrubs and trees with many varieties of roses and an orchard. Kids can enjoy the garden, walk or ride their bikes or play on the beach.

Well behaved pets are very welcome inside at Burrum River Retreat and a comfy bed by the Wood Fire, towels and bowls are supplied. A secure rear yard offers a secure area for pet and children to play.
